Had a great lesson to kick off the year. We watched a video about President Joseph Fielding Smith. His life and history!! It was so good to learn about him and his accomplishments. The history is printed in the front of your book if you would like to read it. He was an amazing man with an amazing story. He was our prophet from January 23, 1970 to July 2, 1972. He had much sadness and heartache in his life. But he endured to the end just like all of us will have to do too!! I think it helps to learn about these great prophets so we can appreciate their teachings even more.

These are the same attributes we can develop and also know we can trust to have in our Heavenly Father.
Great lesson. Read and learn what President Smith thought and taught about our Father in Heaven.
